Experience for a day

Is sailing the ocean on your bucketlist? If so, join us for a one-day training experience on our beautiful refitted 60 ft Volvo Ocean Race sailing yacht Boudragon. We set sail on saturdays and sundays from the port of Scheveningen or Breskens.
 
A training experience allows you to witness the intensive training of our sailing talents, and participate in active sailing.

A training experience is an opportunity for both the novice and more experienced sailor to increase his or her sailing experience and knowledge and develop new skills. You can get a feel of the speed of a Volvo Ocean Racer (Volvo 60) while sailing a formula one race yacht. Under guidance of some of the Dutch most experienced skippers you will have a day of hands-on training, sailing the entire ship with your fellow masterclass crew members. You will learn about trimming, grinding, handling the boat and helming. In just one day Team Holland Ocean Racing will take you along into the world of big boat sailing.

Parking is possible at the parking lot of the Zuiderstrandtheater, please follow the signs "theater".

On board:
You will be informed at least a week before the exprience day with a short briefing by email.
